i found a hex making website but what size should i make the hex i am using 6 sided dice for the Character can somebody help thanks

It really depends on what you are wanting there. At minimum you should make it large enough to hold the die without it needing to overlap the edges (so about 1/2 inch I'd say at a guess, maybe slightly more) but it depends on what you are wanting to use the hex graph for. The larger the hex's, the less problems you will have (accidentally moving dice for example) but the area you will be able to "represent" will be much smaller.

 

Also note that 6E no longer basis things on "hexes". You can still use them if you choose of course.

I would personally go with 1" hexes that represent 2 meters each. That gives you a scale pretty close to most miniatures and commercially produced maps.

Ditto. Possibly slightly smaller depending on the size of the items you use to represent characters.

thanks i will try all to see which one works best and i still have my ver 4 i might have to breakdown and get newest ver
