Marcus Impudite
During a raid on the lair of a mastermind villain, your character and company find several interesting artifacts in his possession: Templar Armor: A suit of armor that once belonged to a high-ranking Templar Knight. William H. Bonney's Hat: The legendary outlaw's favorite hat. Frozen Grey Alien: A capsule containing the cryo-preserved remains of an extraterrestrial from the UFO crash at Roswell. Golden Buddha: A life-sized, solid gold statue of Buddha sitting in the lotus position. Stolen from a Buddhist temple in Tibet. The Silver Key: The actual Silver Key Lovecraft wrote about in his 1926 short story. The Outlaw's Bow And Quiver: A longbow and quiver of arrows believed to have belonged to the British outlaw who was the inspiration for Robin Hood. Spartan Armor: The armor and weapons of an elite Spartan warrior. The Studio 54 Disco Ball: The disco ball from late 1970s New York's most (in)famous nightclub. WWYCD? Major Tom 2009
Re: The Mastermind's Trophies Send 'em to Warehouse 13... Yeah, I'd go along with that, especially where the Spartan armor and weapons are concerned. It'd just be the luck of the poor SOB that finds it who finds out that the armor was worn by one of the 300, and that it absorbed some serious juju as a result of the Battle of Thermopylae ()... Major Tom 2009 Given what happened to the Templars, that could work for them too Also this might make a good Create-a-villain team, where each villain gets one of these mystical objects for powers (not sure about the frozen alien working with that though)

McCoy
Re: The Mastermind's Trophies Dolphin will insist on returning the Golden Buddha to the Dalia Lama (NOT the occupation government of Tibet). Cheeta will consider calling dibs on the mirror ball, realize it is totally out of scale for his apartment, and say nothing. All the rest, Warehouse 13. Lucius
Re: The Mastermind's Trophies So, how do we recognize the items of this eccentric collection? Are they labeled or something? Assuming they're handily labeled, is there any reason think the labels anything but an attempt to overawe and bamboozle visitors to this peculiar private museum? Lucius Alexander Feed them to the palindromedary!

Just because the body is frozen doesn't necessarily mean that its mind is frozen as well -- it could very well be orchestrating things behind the scenes with some sort of mental powers while its body remains inert, using them to influence the villains into taking one of these objects each. CrosshairCollie
Re: The Mastermind's Trophies Vixen would have no idea what any of that stuff is. "Armor, hat, Muppet, fat statue, key, bow an' arrow, more armor, disco ball ... whatever." History isn't exactly her strong suit; with the exception of the alien, if she were convinced it was real, the rest of that is just kitsch to her. She'd just leave it all for the cops/government to deal with ... and probably the alien, too, considering that thawing it is beyond her capabilities. Well, thawing it SAFELY anyway. hfergus
Re: The Mastermind's Trophies All my heroes: return all except alien and key to owners, if no owners, donate to Smithonian. Alien the mull over and probably keep. The silver key. If magic, Olorin can find out - and hopefully destroy. Other would just hide it as best they can

Drhoz
Re: The Mastermind's Trophies Vitus : TAKE THE KEY. Quite possibly kill anybody that tries to stop him taking the key. Sweet Celestia, the Silver Key is the kind of artifact he'd give his right nut for - access to the psychosphere, from there direct connection to the Great Libraries, freaking TIME TRAVEL as well???? It would be the answer to his prayers... Plus there's the possibility the Bouda - Earth's closest analogue to the gnolls - are still kicking around somewhere in the Dreamlands
