GoldenAge
Anyone have a good write-up of a weather controller (Storm, Thor, original)??? I've seen Champions' own Stormfront but would like to see how others have approached Weather Power creation (they can be a bit... unpredictable?) Thanks! ayinde
Re: Weather Powers??? I built all the weather effects as a giant intangible monster once. the thought behind it was any weather controlling hero could summon it
CrosshairCollie
Re: Weather Powers??? Also... Anyone have a few (non-comedic) Weather Power character name suggestions? Macroburst Supercell Any more??? Cloudburst Stormcloud Cumulus Hurricane (or other major violent weather phenomenon) As far as building one goes ... I typically do the bog-standard 'Weather Control' EC with Flight, a wind shield, and a small Change Environment, then a Multipower with the stuff like Lightning Bolts and Double Knockback Wind Blasts in it. Christopher
Re: Weather Powers??? Names: Stormfront Maybe jsut name yourself after (or in allusion too) some major hurricane or other bad-weaher? A weather controlled named "Katrina" sound like a bad forecast. Powers: The classical storm set is a good starting point: Wind flight and Wind-shield Lightning Blast Use fog or rain to limit sight Icesheets to let foes trip/limit mobility Cold- or heatwave to Drain characterisitcs All sub-sfx's (electricity, wind, ice, heat) can be expanded into the area of a full fledged EP's of that SFX. CrosshairCollie
Re: Weather Powers??? Skywalker????? or a quicker version... Stormrunner? I like Stormrunner better (and it avoids trademark issues and people making 'Use the Force' jokes), myself. Skybreaker might be another possibility if the PC isn't a 'one with nature' type, more of a 'nature, sit down and shut up' type.

Zen Archer
Re: Weather Powers??? Isn't that Beta Ray Bill's hammer? It is, yeah. It's also the title of the first Alex Rider book. Hasn't been used as a name for a published character as far as I know. And I agree with Golden Age that it sounds cool.
RexMundi
Re: Weather Powers??? Stormfront works.....Stormbreaker is fine..... Suppose it all depends on what one really wants to do. Pretty easy in 6E. ~Rex
