Cancer
Re: How to balance mages in high fnatasy. Well, we learned our lesson when the only PC ever to take the DCV 0 Concentrate extra time limit on a power was thin red misted from undamaged in one non-critical punch. One punch flipped the sign on his BODY total (and then some, actually). No one will make that mistake again.

Given that Concentration doesn't make you more vulnerable to damage, I'm guessing that campaign had a pretty high body count if a single hit was doing 2xBOD+DEF in body damage! cheers, Mark

There were two characters with high-end defenses, and those got kicked around like footballs (but survived) while everyone else stayed on full defense, ran like crazy, and used terrain for cover while being chased. We had only the one fatality in that fight.
