Resurrection Spell

Working on a resurrection spell that not only brings a target to life but makes them slavishly loyal. The resurrection part is easy, so to the question.

 

I was thinking that instead of a Mind Control I'd use Transformation Attack, transform into slavishly devoted. Is this a legal use of Transformation attack?

 

Could one use a TA, transform a dead body into a living, slavishly devoted whatever race they may be, by itself?

You can't use Transform to resurrect someone; that would violate the general rule about using Transform to substitute for other powers. But it's possible to use a Mental Transform to make someone a character's loyal slave; in fact that's used in the book as an example of a type of Severe Transform.
