clsage
I'm toying with (in other words, doing a conceptual build) in 5th Ed for a pair of Teen Champions who team up. One is an electrically based energy blaster type and the other is a telekinetic. And just as with many "super duos" they develop some tactics to use in combat. Which leads to the "how to build" part: They'd call the tactic: "Missed me! (Oh no we didn't!!)" (or some such phrase) It would have the effect of the electrical blaster firing a bolt "away from" the target but then the telekinetic "redirects it" onto the target.... It's pretty obvious that the EB would potentially need some level of "Indirect" attached to it. And maybe the TK would be a slot for "Missile Deflection/Reflection" in a multipower....And that both would "Require A Power Skill Roll" and almost certainly a "Teamwork" roll....It's the combining of them all that has me (temporarily at least) a bit befuddled. Thoughts? Thanks. -Carl-

CrosshairCollie
Re: 5th Edition: TK Trick And Teamwork Hmm. There is a way to make Telekinesis affect energy, typically by taking the limitation 'only vs (energy type)'. He could have a specific slot for Electrokinesis(?), ready an action for when the bolt is fired, then 'grab' and redirect it, perhaps? Ice9
Re: 5th Edition: TK Trick And Teamwork The electric one just has a Blast or RKA. The telekinetic has Naked Advantage: Indirect for up to X points of Electrical or Projectile attacks, Usable by Other, perhaps with the limitations Instant (he has to grant it on the phase it will be used, not ahead of time) and RAR: Teamwork.
