TheNaga
What can I look at to make an evil fey besides the HERO System Bestiary 6E?
CrosshairCollie
Re: Evil Fey The main rulebook. It's just like making any character. Decide what you want it to do and start crunching numbers.
Tasha
Re: Evil Fey What can I look at to make an evil fey besides the HERO System Bestiary 6E? The 5e setting Tuala Morn has a ton of Fae. You would have to convert them to 6e, but that's not too hard.

Alverant
Re: Evil Fey As two of my characters would testify from personal experience, the fey are already evil. Fey don't really care for anyone but their own kind (if then) and see mortals as playthings and don't consider the consequences of their actions. Fey will "help" if they think it sounds like fun. For example if a fey learns a character's secret ID then later hears the character complain about the troubles of leading a double life, the fey may help by revealing the secret ID to the world. See, problem solved. And now the character isn't boring the fey anymore by complaining about the same thing all the time.

That's one of those campaign-dependent things, which is why you can't really just ask 'what's a fey' in HERO. You need to figure out what fey are, how they work, and what they do in your game, and build it from there. I've never really used fey (I don't find those mythos that interesting), but I generally go more 'aloof and indifferent' than 'capricious and amoral'. In other words, your PC complains about the issues of having a Secret ID and the fae responds 'And I'm supposed to care ... why?'. Or alternately, 'Were you talking to me? You should stop doing that.'

CrosshairCollie
Re: Evil Fey Does Champions have the phooka and the boogeyman? Not aware of writeups for them, but if you want them in your game, by all means.

Here's a version of The Bogeyman: http://surbrook.devermore.net/adaptationscreatures/myth/childhood/bogeyman.html and for more from the world of Fae and such....take a look here: http://surbrook.devermore.net/adaptationscreatures/myth/myth.html As always, the links here may not look anything like the creations in your (or your GM's) campaign....YMMV, etc..... -Carl-
Stephen Mann
Re: Evil Fey If you don't mind doing an extended session of reading, the story "Dystopic Return of Magic" over on the Alternate History boards is relevant.
