Blue
(More of a "WWYC Be") A team of villains comes to town, each themed in a house of the zodiac (Virgo, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius... but none of the animal-based figures). During a confrontation, their leader appears, a man calling himself Ptolemy who uses the diversion as the opportunity to use the Zodiac ray on your character! The ray does not necessarily turn you into a figure from the zodiac; No, it evolves you to take on some aspect of an animal (the aspect presumably somehow representative of an aspect of your character). He then selects anyone who might fit the classical zodiac and kidnaps them in an attempt to convince or possibly brainwash them to join his Constellation of Evil. So the questions be: What properties does your character adopt? What animal is it representative of? Does it fit the familiar zodiac? How would you handle the situation? Blue
Re: They Say You Want an Evolutuion Example: Uncle Slam might take on properties of an eagle, sprouting wings and feathers. While this might make him resemble a number of mythological characters, none of them are really parts of the zodiac. His primary reaction is to target Ptolemy, but if he escapes he'll be certain to nab one of his underlings to find out what he can about the zodiac-ray, so he might reverse it. Anthem is less easy to figure out. She tends to be loyal and protective, so I'm thinking maybe a dog. She might adopt fangs or claws, tracking scent. She'd probably try to track the enemies by smell, leading heroes to the scene to help her overcome them. She too does not fit the zodiac. (Though she might make a good Canis if they ever expand the zodiac.) Audra Blue is the serpent, laying low in hiding, stalking foes. She would probably get the snake eyes and poisonous fangs, possibly some ability to shapeshift into a snake and slither away. Also not part of the zodiac. If the powers proved really useful, she might keep them; depends on how they impact her self-confidence.
Lucius
Re: They Say You Want an Evolutuion How would this affect a power suited character? If, say, Iron Man suddenly turned into a centaur while wearing the armor.... Lucius Alexander Turn me into a palindromedary
CrosshairCollie
Re: They Say You Want an Evolutuion Most of my characters are already furries, so I think Vixen and War Wolf*'s transformations would be no-brainers. *Assuming it works on demigods and robots, respectively. So if Iron Man's most predominant trait were being a jackass, well...

Economaster is a character steeped in symbolism already... so depending on the current state of the market, either a Bear or a Bull based powers? Bull would be a zodiac candidate, but in either case she has a great deal of mystical sway and would probably quickly try and get the situation reversed (at any cost! ) The Golem, if such magic worked on it... I'm not sure animal-wise. Maybe a pig, traditional jewish symbol of uncleanliness? In The Golem's eyes this would either be a step closer to being truly alive, or a step away from being truly human. It would deal with it as it handles all problems: stoically and with a great deal of prayer and meditation.
