Question about Transfer

So lets say i have a 4d6 absorbtion with its maximum tranfer rate at a 30, does that mean that i can have a maximum of 30 transfered from multiple different sources or i can take a max of 30 from any target at any given time to a theoretical infinite number of points tranfered?

It means 30 maximum total, whether from a single source or multiple sources. See 6E1 166 for further discussion.
