csyphrett
Re: Doc Savage Adventures that never were Those have been posted before but he added on more. The Doctor and The Shadow are awesome counterparts to Doc usually. I found brave and bold covers like these one day. They were done the same way with Batman trying to save Shang Chi, being thawed out by the Guardians of the Galaxy and ensuring a replacement for the Phantom CES

Balabanto
Re: Doc Savage Adventures that never were Here's my idea for The Last Doc Savage Story Cold Messiah It is November 21st, 1963. The assassination of President Kennedy has set off a firestorm in America! Desperate to discover who has committed the crime of the century, the United States Government turns to the Man of Bronze and his elderly cohorts! Battered and old, Doc Savage and his Men battle against sinister forces without and within the United States Government, only to find that a deadly enemy has risen from a watery grave to bring the world to it's knees! Can Doc Savage and his men save the world one last time with all the weapons of his old enemies turned against him?

But if they are contacted on 11/21, they can just stop the assassination; it was on 11/22.

st barbara
Re: Doc Savage Adventures that never were I'm not necessarily a fan of the "let's pit one famous character against another" school of story, but some of those adventures make me wish they were real , and those lovely covers ! Great get "Steamteck".

csyphrett
Re: Doc Savage Adventures that never were i don't know if anyone is reading the brave and bold blog, but he is doing Marvel Two in One now. So if you're a Thing fan, here's your chance to see him teamed up with Doc Brown, Barda, and Terry McGinnis, the Batman Beyond. CES
AlHazred
Re: Doc Savage Adventures that never were Thing is, while this is a wonderful idea, many of these fail to completely capture the style of the Doc Savage covers. The Monster Maker is perfect, for instance, while Ant Hill Horror has perfect composition but an inaccurate pencil style. Many have photos composited which don't look "right" as Savage covers. I'd still like to read them.
