Clonus
Re: Ctrl+V produce no match, the DNA is compromised, the pictures blurry, the training records mislaid. The further back someone researches, the less they will be able to find and even magical and psionic inquiries draw a blank. While this is troublesome to a normal person who finds their school records or signature bank accounts mislaid, this is a valuable trait to criminals, undercover operatives and others who operate in secrecy, and it only draws suspicion when they are already the subject of intense scrutiny. Ragitsu
Re: Ctrl+V Caucasian male of possibly Western European descent, six feet/one inches tall, with an apparently once clean shaven head that is rapidly growing back to a forest of straight brown hair, two bright hazel eyes with a slight emphasis of green, a somewhat square jaw that's soft at the edges. By all visual estimates, in his early to mid twenties.

Ragitsu
Re: Ctrl+V Character is wearing a leather jacket (DR1) and gets hit by three 9mm bullets, the first two of which do minimum damage (4) in the Torso, the latter which does average damage (9) to the Vitals. 3 damage, plus 3 damage, plus 24 (8 x 3 for the Vitals) = 30 damage. This puts the 10 HP person at -20, which forces two checks for death. Not impossible to survive by any stretch of the imagination. If you use a shotgun shell loaded with pellets instead of a 9mm pistol, survivability tends to go UP for the character with DR 1. Of course, this isn't the average scenario, but it CAN happen. People that get shot three plus times in the chest usually DO die, but not always! GURPS does model this "randomness" well enough, in my opinion. Ragitsu
Re: Ctrl+V Maneuvering the vehicle is about as tricky as it had been approaching from the south. To make matters worse, not long after you pull off from the municipal City Hall building, the glass quadruple doors of the entryway buckle and explode outward to make way for a grizzly-bear sized mass of flesh, eyeballs, and screeching doom. Clawing deep scything gouges into the pavement of the steps, it begins a hot pursuit of the Taurus, heedless of the very obstacles which slow your own progress down! Clonus
Re: Ctrl+V Seems to me that in situations where haggling is appropriate, merchants would generally have two prices, the one they put forth as a bargaining position, expecting and intending to be bargained down, and the one they really have in mind, and the Reaction Table produces the one they really have in mind. They can be bargained down from it, but with more difficulty. Before then they'd automatically go toward the PC's offer with each round.
