Ragitsu
What are some traits the characters from the titular series would have? For starters, how do you model that tongue of theirs?

BlueCloud2k2
Re: Battletoads! Amphibians can breath underwater. They also need to keep their skin moist, so dependence (water). Battletoads would have Weapon Familiarity for their guns. Prolly commando training as well.
Burrito Boy
Re: Battletoads! Here's what I have so far for my mutant frog character: Tongue: 5 (Total: 13 Active Cost, 5 Real Cost) Extra Limb (1), Inherent (+1/4) (6 Active Points); Restrainable (-1/2), Limited Manipulation (-1/4) (Real Cost: 3) plus Stretching 1", Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (7 Active Points); Instant (-1/2), Restrainable (-1/2), Always Direct (-1/4), Limited Body Parts (-1/4), no Noncombat Stretching (-1/4), No Velocity Damage (-1/4) (Real Cost: 2) 0 Leaping (I haven't decided how much yet.) Life Support: Underwater Breathing Swimming (Again, I'm not sure how much.) Vulnerability: Pollutants and Chemicals (Uncommon, x2 BODY) Vulnerability: Heat and Fire (Common x1 1/2 BODY) And I'm thinking of adding a Dependence to Water

BlueCloud2k2
Re: Battletoads! By the way' date=' are those hoverbikes in the Turbo Tunnel handled with Combat Driving or Combat Piloting?[/quote'] I would say either would be fine, but Combat Driving would suffer a penalty for being off of the ground. Maybe a -2 for every Range Increment off of the ground (so -2 @ 4 Hexes, -4 @ 8 Hexes, -3 @ 16 Hexes, etc).
bigbywolfe
Re: Battletoads! What about a Accurate AoE (not sure of the exact term in 6E) for their giant fist slam attack they end some of their combo attacks with? Side note: I'm pretty sure that frogs and toads, (and most but by no means all amphibians) can't breathe underwater after they grow their lungs/lose their gills. Many of the more aquatic species can absorb some oxygen from the water through their skin, prolonging the amount of time they can stay submerged, but they still have to resurface to actually breathe on occasion. Perhaps extend breathing to represent how long they can stay underwater instead of just giving them the ability to simply breathe water? AOE as you mentioned?), so that would be necessary as well. I am not sure about the underwater breathing bit, as, at least in the first game, they never actually go underwater. Would increased PD/ED cover their skin's toughness, or do they not get any defensive benefit from such skin?
