There is something insidiously alluring to the idea of doing nothing in class this Friday* except affirm conspiracy theories and drop dark, confusing hints that those just scratch the surface of a dystopian, hallucinatory reality. It's a physics class, and I doubt the students would be able to differentiate that from what the regular lecture content was supposed to be. If it was the end of the term (when we get to rotational kinematics, like torque and angular momentum) then I'm certain they wouldn't.

 

 

*That's April 1, of course.
