MrofMist
How would I, say make a power that let you see what was wrong with someone? Like pulse, bp, condition of bones. Things like that. An item that I could see being made with the power might be a stethoscope. With the limitation that it could only be used to check breath sounds. Sociotard
Re: Healing based sensory stuffs Go back to "what do I want this for". If you want the GM to tell you what is wrong with someone, then a Detect sounds appropriate. However, maybe you have an end goal for this information. Maybe you want to be better able to heal people. Then you'd be better off buying skill levels in Paramedics and any other medicinal skills you have. The character is better able to heal the dying, with the special effect of being able to know what's wrong faster. Maybe you're a martial artist, and you want to notice more quickly that your opponent has an existing injury you could aggravate. (punching a cut or bruise deals a lot of pain). That could be any number of things, including DCs with a RSR Perception Roll, Find Weakness, or maybe Analyze. What do you want this power to do in gameplay. MrofMist
Re: Healing based sensory stuffs Good point sociotard. I didn't think of it that way. I like the detect idea, and the rest. They all seem strongly useable.
