Curufea
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens It's very cool to see greens of your own creations! I'm tempted to do some scratch builds now! Although less so now that it seems a face-to-face game may be impossible to organise. I do have a pseudo-drakonian figure that may be an easy mod into a Simeret. It's the Bezzi I'll have dificulty with, unless I can find something between 15mm and 25mm scale to represent them. Maybe some 1/72 scale plastic barbarians? DusterBoy
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens Hey, Mayapuppies, is that Darth Vader I see, albeit with a different costume and weapon? Awesome on toast! I like the wolf slavegirls, too. These are high-quality greens, so the finished thing ought to be top notch. Props for the hard work you've put in, bud. Curufea
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens I dunno about them being slaves - I just don't picture sentient beings covered in fur actually wanting to wear huge amounts of clothing as well. Where are the kilts?

We're going alphabetically through the races. Hey, Mayapuppies, is that Darth Vader I see, albeit with a different costume and weapon? Awesome on toast! I like the wolf slavegirls, too. Mike Evans is in a masters program at the Chicago Art Institute and did work on conversions for Blue Table Painting prior to moving to Chicago. I dunno about them being slaves - I just don't picture sentient beings covered in fur actually wanting to wear huge amounts of clothing as well. Where are the kilts? They are WIP's. The kilts will be more kilt like and the thick "collars" are being toned down to be more like Torcs.
Curufea
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens Will you be doing pre-orders to fill? I've being doing that with the miniatures for Attack Vector: Tactical as they're a small publisher. Once they get enough pre-orders they go into production. mayapuppies
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens I haven't thought about it, honestly. But I'm pretty sure I can set up a system for it once I have an idea of what pre-orders would be needed.
mayapuppies
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens Will you be doing pre-orders to fill? I've being doing that with the miniatures for Attack Vector: Tactical as they're a small publisher. Once they get enough pre-orders they go into production. We'll be meeting with our Webmistress on Friday to discuss the implementation of our online store. If pre-orders are something people would want to see, I can certainly add it into the requirements. The only issue is that I can only estimate the cost of a miniature at the "green" stage. The true cost becomes known once my caster gets it in his hands and is able to accurately determine material costs/etc.
Curufea
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens It's more a managing matter - pre-orders allow you to make-on-demand. It saves you being stuck with 300 lead minis that aren't moving. The Eureka Miniatures company does a similar thing for custom minis with their 100 and 300 clubs. http://www.eurekamin.com.au/
mayapuppies
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens Ah, very interesting. I may look into that, but my only concern is that a system like that works great for wargames miniatures but not so much for a Reaper miniatures style setup where people are only likely to buy a couple at a time for a character or particular NPC. Curufea
Re: WIP Aigulf Greens The "... club" system yes - but if you can record 100-200 individual orders it works too (which is what the Ad Adstra folk did for Attack Vector: Tactical). Mind you, it did also involve reminder emails sent out to everyone who pre-ordered to let them know the target number was reached and they could now pay money and order.
