Stretching and Telekinesis are the only legal ways of building 'STR usable at Range'. From 5er page 409: Yet, if you built this for a heroic campaign, you're able to built it this way. To the OP, the people I game with would allow the build, and remebering rule 4 pg. 543 fred, so would I. FWIW, I built a Sai multipower for Seeker, bought an EB slot, but then bought range martial arts to improve the damage, and it gave some versatility in range combat.
