Nerdnumber1
Is there any rule forbiding the use of autofire attacks for special manuvers, such as disarm (I have a gunslinger with ranged disarm and an autofire naked advantage, so I was thinking I might be able to disarm 5 enemies at once.) Wyrm Ouroboros
Re: Autofire disarm Not as such, I don't think. However, in that example you have to spread your fire and all the other rules for autofire. I would think that Rapid Fire with the ranged maneuver would be more your baby. You could also Rapid Fire that attack but the Advantage would avoid several issues: Rapid Fire against 5 targets would be -8 OCV, take a Full Phase action and halve the character's DCV) so it depends on how cinematic you want the effect to be. Edit: Unsolicited advice: If you haven't already check out the Autofire and Rapid Attack Skills. They can do wonders for this sort of character. I use them for my gunslinger/Grammaton Cleric clone. The charact has accurate sprayfire and the naked advantage is for handguns in general. I can't find a rule that forbids an autofire on multiple targets from using manuvers. Wouldn't you just do the manuver normally for each enemy after rolling to hit with autofire rules? FYI: This is a first draft of the character: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70588
Mr. Gridlock
Re: Autofire disarm If you were going to go this way, wouldn't you also need Skipover Autofire? I don't see the baddies lining up all nice and neat for you. Using Rapid Fire is the way to go, IMO. Buy some 2-point skill levels to compensate for the OCV penalties 16 Peerless Marksman: +8 with Rapid Fire OCV Penalties You could then attack up to 5 people per Phase without penalty. nexus
Re: Autofire disarm The character has accurate sprayfire and the naked advantage is for handguns in general Cool, it was a "just in case" suggestion. I can't find a rule that forbids an autofire on multiple targets from using manuvers. As far I know, there isn't one. As a judgment call I would ask that the character have Autofire on their Ranged Disarm to fully use it or use the Rapid Fire maneuver otherwise. Wouldn't you just do the maneuver normally for each enemy after rolling to hit with autofire rules? In either case, I think the Disarm would be resolved normally against the target that were hit. It's a WWII game in which there will be many Nazi mooks trying to kill me. There is actually a fair chance that they WILL line up nice and neat for me... once. Anyway, I wasn't planning to build the character arround this concept, but it's nice to have a trick planned for the one time that the stars(/Nazis) align perfectly for me to knock them down.
