Thia Halmades
Re: The Cat Launcher It should also be a Flash, or a Suppress DEX (while fighting off teh kitteh).
Certified
Re: The Cat Launcher I think the Dex Suppress works better than the flash since the face shot was just luck and the pizza boy still managed to run away. Do you think it would work better as Dex Suppress with a Linked Killing attack or as a compound power?
nexus
Re: The Cat Launcher I'd make it an EB maybe with Penetrating (enough to dice to get a pip or two of Body on Normal occasionally) It didn't seem "lethal" just really painful. Might be Uncontrolled too with the condition to stop the attack "fighting off the cat" however you choose to define that (or just make them continuing charges with a fairly short duration for simplicity). Narratio
Re: The Cat Launcher I like the suppress DEX but I'm thinking that Entaglement might be a better way to go. The kitten won't kill him, but he'll be going nowhere while he tries to get it off his face.

Narratio
Re: The Cat Launcher Ahh, didn't see the cartoon. Sounds like artistic license to me. I'd have expected the deliveryman to be rolling around on the porch screaming something like "Yarrrgetimoffamegawddamcatarrghjeezow!" or something similar while small amounts of blood and flesh flecked Mr.Wests palatial residence. Katherine
Re: The Cat Launcher Isn't a Continuous Killing Attack a little lethal compared to how it appeared to be? Don't normal people just have around 8 Body? I realize this isn't a totally serious write up but I was curious.
Certified
Re: The Cat Launcher Originally I set it up as a Killing Attack since they are claws and that tends to be Killing Damage from what I've seen. I did move it down from 1d5-1 to .5d6 I just didn't want to do 1 pip. As to comparing it the source martial he is a pizza boy that means he has to have a Body and Ego of at least 18 to deal with the fact that well he's a pizza boy. No office to anyone following in Phillip J Fry's footsteps. Forgive me for the cross show references. As is, I wouldn't expect it do much in a Super heroic campaign. Although, I could see someone like Foxbat (I don't think Foxbat ever uses killing attacks) accidentally hospitalizes Seeker.
bigbywolfe
Re: The Cat Launcher I'd like to see a right up that actually fires cats, like cat NPCs as listed in the Bestiary. Maybe with the optional Rapidfire on the cats' 1pip claw attacks...
mattingly
Re: The Cat Launcher Telekinesis, Physical Manifestation. That allows for the grab (reducing CV), the squeeze (cat scratch damage), and the manifestation may possibly allow for blocked sight. Either that, or borrow the Opaque Adder from Entangle. It didn't really seem to do much. You try being in a situation where a cat's actually in a position to sink its claws in your noggin. Trust me, you'll change your mind PDQ about just how much damage a cat's claws can do to it. Major Tom
Narratio
Re: The Cat Launcher Now, upscale the sucker, vehicle mount it and you've got a sabre toothed cat launcher for those occasions when you absolutely, positively HAVE to clear the room.
