Logan D. Hurricanes
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I decided to rate the flavors for my own preferences. Logan D. Hurricanes
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Yeah, the seafood ones are the scariest. Except for seaweed, which I've had on crackers before and can be quite good if done right.
John Desmarais
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I think that's what we call' date=' "Ranch."[/quote'] You are correct. Outside of the US (and maybe the immediate neighbors) "ranch" has no meaning as a flavor other than "it's something American's put on their raw veg". CrosshairCollie
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Needs better presentation. I've had bacon cheeseburger pizzas before, and they are delicious. I've even had one that had a mustard-and-ketchup sauce instead of regular pizza sauce. But I do have to admit, that does just look unappetizing.
teh bunneh
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore It's a pizza with a big pile of meat and cheese on top, with another pizza flipped upside down on top. Michael Hopcroft
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore The inside of the meat looked awfully pink. These days it is usually considered a bad idea to order a hamburger or cheeseburger "rare". I had one medium on my one trip to Vegas that was tasty (if messy) but that's about as far as I go. Steaks are usually fine, but those come prom a single cow/bull/steer. Hamburger mixed the meat of several of them, making it more likely that one of them might have been infected. Bacon Cheeseburger pizza isn't bad. But I haven't had one in at least a year, and it's not as popular at pizza places as it once was. I miss "taco pizzas", though, especially the ones with a corn-based crust that bake up nice and crispy.

A lot of bacon on a pizza is better (depending on other toppings, of course). I actually had a bacon Hawaiian once ... bacon, pineapple, ham, and green peppers that was pretty spectacular. Cygnia
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore We had Korean today. The husband had kalbi. I tried a spicy pork dish called Jae Yuk Bok Um. And what struck me as interested about it was how very similar it was to how fajitas were prepared (onions, peppers, scallions, chili flakes, rice on the side). While it wasn't served in a flatiron pan, it was served in a hot iron plate. Heck, substitute the rice cakes for soft tortillas and there you are. And it was very good too. Managed to snag enough for leftovers for tomorrow. Nice variety of side dishes beforehand too, though I was most perplexed by what could best be described as a cole slaw-esque dish with some sort of crunchy curly veggie noodle instead of cabbage.
