tkdguy
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I heard about civet coffee a while back. I hear it has an "earthy" taste.
Captain Obvious
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore The article says the tea is only fertilized with panda droppings. Still way, way better than civet coffee.

Cygnia
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Chocolate-Red Wine Cake I'm currently baking one right now. ETA: The cake tastes good, but there's an underscent to it that's a bit off-putting. Might be due to the red wine I ended up using (Burgundy). When I first saw this picture I actually thought it looked good. The name is worse than the execution. It conjures up images of chocolate, mayonnaise, and pickle relish. A sandwich of cake and candy isn't too bad after that.
Matt the Bruins
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I tend to think it would be sickeningly sweet. To be fair Cadbury creme eggs are the one type of candy I can't resist, so who knows?

Do a sheet cake, very flat, and cut it into long strips, rather then squares, to serve. Keep your bacon theme, but be, you know, edible...
