CrosshairCollie
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I doubt it but here's an article - The Worst Burgers in America. I would get one of those pizza burgers and eat it for, like, three days. That looks awesome.
Cygnia
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I have mentioned earlier on this thread about the Viking Burger -- a 1/2lb burger with steak tips on it. I have now gotten to eat such a beast. It was quite yummy.

Cygnia
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore I take it you just don't care anymore. I care enough to think that it still needed bacon for that piece de resistance.

I believe strongly that bacon should be considered a condiment and placed next to the ketchup and mustard.
Matt the Bruins
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Because lots of people like it. McD's actually sells more McRibs when they have it as a seasonal item than they did when they had it all the time. Absence not only makes the heart grow fonder, it gives it time to recover from all the plaque the previous season's offerings built up. Cygnia
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Would lasagna be too out of place for United States Thanksgiving? If the guests are thankful for it, I'd say no. Make it with ground turkey if you like.

tkdguy
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore Would lasagna be too out of place for United States Thanksgiving? Not at all. My family has that as one of the dishes during the holidays. And unlike the rest of my family, I don't eat fowl, including turkey.
mattingly
Re: Foods for those that just don't care anymore My mother-in-law is full Italian, and she serves a big tray of lasagna as an appetizer for all the holiday meals. Well, there's usually bacon bits at salad bars--all you need do is take your burger or steak up to the bar and sprinkle the bits on it there. I don't think you'll get too many strange looks. . .
