If this wasn't a real 1930s-40s car, it should have been--from the Hot Wheels line, the Xtreemster-- Retro enough to be from that period, futuristic enough to be the signature vehicle of the millionaire crimefighting gadgeteer hero in your campaign. Also available in gold color with chrome front-- "Ready to fight crime, Golden Boy?" "You bet, Golden Mask! Those dirty crooks are due for a whipping!" "To the Golden-Mobile!"
