Major Tom 2009
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I mastered subtlety at the "Gilbert Godfrey School of Public Speaking." I thought the last name was Gottfried. Oh, well... I've got a start on the five main characters in the thread (Dynamo, Gladiator, Poltergeist, Sea Dragon, and Shooting Star); so far, I've got pics for Dynamo and Gladiator done, and I'm getting ready to do Poltergeist's (just as soon as I can work out the size differences in the templates). Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Some time ago, I posted a couple of pictures of the heroine Momenta. I originally drew her on an old (3rd or 4th edition) character sheet that had a character template; I just applied a little ink and white-out, photocopied the sheet, and colored in the result. The Fábrica de Heróis versions didn't quite match my original idea, that is, making the "M" in her costume a subtle part of the design rather than just a letter. So in the middle of a sleepless night last night, I had a couple of ideas. Here they are. Personally, I like the one on the left better. Let me know what you think. Tim
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I agree. I also like the one on the left.

(In german we even have a nursery rhyme that they don't belong together). I agree that the left looks better. But both seem somewhat "bland" to me. P.S.: How did you managed to take out the "skinthight spandex" look? Manual overpainting of the lines, or some function I have not found yet?
