Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

I mastered subtlety at the "Gilbert Godfrey School of Public Speaking."

I thought the last name was Gottfried. Oh, well...

I've got a start on the five main characters in the thread (Dynamo, Gladiator, Poltergeist, Sea Dragon, and

Shooting Star); so far, I've got pics for Dynamo and Gladiator done, and I'm getting ready to do Poltergeist's

(just as soon as I can work out the size differences in the templates).

Roland, Roland, Roland

Keep those Gatlings going

Spray those goons with heavy gunfire...

This could be his partner...his own severed head.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Some time ago, I posted a couple of pictures of the heroine Momenta. I originally drew her on an old (3rd or 4th edition) character sheet that had a character template; I just applied a little ink and white-out, photocopied the sheet, and colored in the result. The Fábrica de Heróis versions didn't quite match my original idea, that is, making the "M" in her costume a subtle part of the design rather than just a letter.

So in the middle of a sleepless night last night, I had a couple of ideas. Here they are. Personally, I like the one on the left better. Let me know what you think.

I don't think blue, green and red are a interstign color combination - mostly because of the green and blue. (In german we even have a nursery rhyme that they don't belong together).

I agree that the left looks better. But both seem somewhat "bland" to me.

P.S.: How did you managed to take out the "skinthight spandex" look? Manual overpainting of the lines, or some function I have not found yet?

Here's someone I put together for the "Mister Wicked" thread -- a serial killer known as

the Gorehound:

BTW, that's a specially-designed mask that he's wearing, and its description can be

found on the MW thread.
