Major Tom 2009
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Nice work! Repped, of course. I'd be interested to see your take on my namesake.... OK, I've done a pic of Pariah's character and sent it (along with a bunch of others) out to The Arc for cleanup. Once they've been sent back, I'll get them posted here. The majority of the pics this time around are of characters that had originally been done by jack78 in the A/T-style Fabrica, but there are also some from other folks here on the boards. Major Tom 2009
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Pariah: Not bad at all. The pic of your character that I wound up doing combined elements of the original non-Fabrica sketch as well as some of those from the previous F2010 version of the Pariah character (and, as it turns out, some of those from the new version you've just posted). I've also done a pic of a superheroine called Coldfire; was she one of yours? Major Tom 2009
Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I've also done a pic of a superheroine called Coldfire; was she one of yours? I have a character named ColdFire, yes. Here's a link to her, including a 5th Edition write-up and pics.

Major Tom 2009
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine There was an interesting superheroine pic -- a set of pics, actually -- posted at an earlier point in this thread for a character named Oracle: As I remember, the character was a human female who had the power to transform into an aspect of one of three goddesses from the Olympian pantheon -- Aphrodite, Artemis, and Athena. The original pics of Oracle's goddess-aspects had them all sharing the same outfit design; the only real difference between them, as someone pointed out, was their hair color. With that in mind, I decided to give each goddess-aspect her own individual look. For Aphrodite, I gave her what could be considered a Distracting Costume, as well as some jewelry (this is consistent with the stories about her in Greek mythology, given that her husband Hephaestus created jewelry for her after they were married -- including an enchanted girdle called the Cestus, which if I'm re- membering the stories correctly, had the power to cause men to fall hopelessly in love with her). Artemis' outfit is somewhat more modest, but allows her freedom of movement, an important consideration for the huntress of the Olympian pantheon. Athena's outfit is the most conservative of the three; considering that, in Greek mythology, she was the goddess of both wisdom and just war (as well as appearing as a middle-aged woman). Of the three outfits, hers is fairly close to what such characters in the films dealing with Greek mythology tended to wear, at least where the women were concerned. Oracle's human identity is that of Dr. Alexandria Booker; of the pics above, she's the one with the specs and hair done up in a bun in the back. I forget who did the original pics for this character; if anyone knows who did the original artwork, let me know so I can give them credit for the original pics.
