Egyptoid
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine The dispassionate' date=' maybe even disapproving, mouth makes the picture. [/quote'] slide me some rep, then how did you do it? Baloo seems to have done similar kewl things with his granite woman... Okay, I made the basic chick obviously with hero-criar. but I made her skin all 1 bright color , the brightest red in this case. and her body on the plain white background. then I take the screenshot, and paste that into my photo editor (Gimp for me, YMMV, but it has to be more complex than MS Paint.) you may have to look up some of these editing terms on google. I opened up another window with the hubble star field picture. then I open another window with the sunset picture. then your editor has to be able to do "Select by Color" you select all RED in the picture, and I planned ahead, the only red object in the pic is her skin. then you FEATHER the selection, so its not pixelly. go to the stars pic. then you select it all & copy it entirely onto the clipboard. back at her picture, with her skin selected, you do a function called PASTE INTO. ... not just paste. this replaces only her skin with the clipboard. then unselect everything, or sometimes its called flatten. now select the white background, not forgetting to co-select the white spaces between her arms, hair, etc. again, feather the new selection. go to sunset picture, get it all, and Paste Into the background. now hopefully, her skin is stars, and she's standing in front of the Nile River at sunset. much better than this version:
Egyptoid
Re: I Redid the Sky Goddess Nut I used the "Martian" head when I made her. somehow it was accidentally perfect after the skin/stars substitution. Wow.... do you have that larger? Now I want to make a character for the image. sorry I dint save it any bigger.
Egyptoid
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine remember in Wayne's World, when Garth asks Wayne, did you ever catch yourself looking twice at Bugs Bunny when he was dressed as a girl ? I was looking back through this whole thread after Pariah's comment, and had a little moment looking at She-Grond.... ANYWAYS but I was looking back at the file types, and like what Pariah said, I may have to see about saving as PNG formats. they do seem better slightly

SSgt Baloo
Adding hairiness! slide me some rep, then Baloo seems to have done similar kewl things with his granite woman... Actually, I shaded the picture as normal and added the "granite" in post-production (GIMP) by selecting everything that needed to be "granitized", adding noise, and using a coupla filters (including Gaussian Blur) to get the texture about right. Then I edited the colors, reducing the saturation and adjusting the hue until I liked what I saw. I did use the method you described when adding the Camo pattern to the Motown Bat-homage and one of the characters which follows. Here are Cowboy Bob, 'Squatch, Minerva Mouse and Wolfen. Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine For today, a few villains. First, there's Spiderella. The former dancer and actress gained superpowers after being exposed to irradiated spider venom, and decided there was more fame and money to be had as a supervillainess than she could ever have made in Hollywood. Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine And for Post #1000 on this thread, I bring you a trio of villains from my longest-running campaign. Chyrra is an extra-dimensional wizard with delusions of grandeur and ambitions to rule the multiverse. Besides his own powerful magicks, he can always rely on the talents of his two loyal servants and lieutenants, Rosenstern and Guildencrantz. And while the heroes of Tempest have stopped Chyrra's evil designs time and time again, there's no telling where or when he'll turn up again.
