SSgt Baloo
Re: My Superhero Universe This is great stuff' date=' Cassandra. I may have to steal. . . *ahem* I mean [i']borrow[/i]. . . some of the concepts for my own campaign. Especially the bit with Nikolai Tesla and HG Wells. I prefer the term Benchmarking, as in "That's pretty good. I'm going to steal benchmark that for my own campaign. Sorry for the long absence. Does anyone else think that The Watchmen was visually interesting but lacked a soul. I wanted to love the book and the movie, but although the visuals were stunning, neither told a story I was very interested in.
Doctor Agenda
Re: My Superhero Universe I really enjoyed Watchmen, but I'm not sure whether because it DOES have some soul or whether I'm too much of a fanboy to realize it didn't have any. Cassandra
Re: My Superhero Universe No disrespect intended, Dr. Agenda. The Watchmen was visually stunning, and as true an adaption to the comic book as possible for a film. I think I can sum up my attitude toward the film by paraphrasing a quote from The Simpsons. "I know that Batman can be pretty intense, but compaired to Rorschach he's Judge freaking Reinhold!"
