gojira
Any one got a pronunciation guide for Tuala Morn? The little guide on page 8 is pretty insufficient for my tin ear. This would be a great project for the Hero Wiki btw. I'd love to see some sort of searchable index. If you want some specific words, I'd say all the words in Appendix One. Then all the personal names and place names in the text. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Steve Long
Re: Tuala Morn pronunciation guide? I am currently still working, slowly but surely, on The Encyclopedia Tuala that I'll put in the Free Stuff section when it's done. It's like the Encyclopedia Turakiana and the similar one I did for Hudson City. It's an encyclopedic index for the book, with pronunciations for every single name and word. The problem is that Tuala Morn is so full of names and places and things that I'm still only about halfway through the book. I will try to be more diligent about getting the dang thing done. Markdoc
Re: Tuala Morn pronunciation guide? Until then treat it like Irish. Look at the word and then try to pronounce it so that the sound is almost - but not completely - unrelated to the letters involved. cheers, Mark
Roter Baron
Re: Tuala Morn pronunciation guide? A throatful of phlegm should work with anything you have to say in a Celtic language very well.

Ah well, cool. I hope it gets done sometime this year, that would be neat. Until then treat it like Irish. I'll keep this in mind. Markdoc says "make it up" and Roter Baron says "skip the allergy meds." Check.
Steve Long
Re: Tuala Morn pronunciation guide? I put in some hard work on the Encyclopedia Tuala over the weekend and got past the worst of it. So I am just about done and am hoping I can post it later this week, barring unexpected distractions.
