megaplayboy
Neat, but I'm pretty sure you'd need a laser(and battery) a couple orders of magnitude(at least) more powerful in order to make it a viable small arms weapon, unless you just want to set stuff on fire or blind people. gewing
Hmm, perfect for the super heroic version of Peter Francisco... I'm thinking that he didn't really die, just went dormant somehow. Oooh, I am getting an idea for a hero team. A terrorist attack topples the Liberty Bell. In the wake of the resounding tone, heard literally throughout the land, Legends Arise!!! Long thought Dead, the American Hercules rises from the ground to defend his home...

freakboy6117
Again not a gun but a force multiplier the Explorer camera is a tactical camera ball that can be thrown into a room to give a 360 view of the environment straight to a smartphone. It should be in service with 100 police departments across the US later this years. Cancer

megaplayboy
Anyone know which guns have gas-recoil compensators like the AA-12 and the HCAR? Based on the FPS Russia videos, it looks like you can fire full-auto with minimal recoil with that kind of recoil system.

gewing
Here is a DERRINGER (!) chambered in .45-70. One of my dad's friend got a .45-70 derringer in the late 80s or early 90s. He fired it ONCE. one of the grip scales came off in his hand. It was repaired and either put in the safe or sold, I can't remember which. Another friend asked my dad to test fire a Taurus titanium .41 magnum snubnose.revolver. It took two people to get through a 5 shot cylinder. Old Man
So like two of the powder grains eject the bullet from the barrel and then the rest just make a loud noise?
Ragitsu
An NPC in an upcoming game of mine is going to have a concealed Derringer. I can't decide whether to settle on a "mundane" .44 Magnum variation, a .410 shotshell variation, or the .45-70 beast of a piece.

Ragitsu
Poisoned .22. Yup. There is always the "Super Cyanide Hollowpoint" option. I am not sure if it is as immediately effective as a Magnum-class cartridge (one that is above .40 inches in diameter, anyhow), though.
