gewing
not a gun, but certainly an enhancement to the Intelligence for firing them in the right direction I knew aerostats were in use, but this had some good info. http://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htcbtsp/20150408.aspx
gewing
Have we had this one here? Ar15 style 12 gauge. http://eaacorp.com/portfolio-item/mka-1919-match/ I have long considered their products under rated, and this is one I really like. http://eaacorp.com/portfolio-item/witness-hunter/ A couple new versions fro Ruger that I like. An LCR with adjustable sights and exposed hammer http://www.ruger.com/products/lcr/models.html A version of the compact sp101 with adjustable sights and a 4 inch barrel. Either 5 shots .357/.38spl. Or 6 shots .327 federal. I prefer the latter, it can fire .327 federal 32 H&R magnums, .32 S&W long or short. .327 is pretty hot http://www.ruger.com/products/sp101/models.html https://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=
Sundog
Tanfoglio isn't an English-Language first company, is it? Because if they deliberately named their gun the "Witness Hunter"... mikeward2534
gewing
No, they are Italian. I never actually read it that way, Weird.
bigbywolfe
How did you read it? I'm having trouble thinking of context where "Witness Hunter" means something other than either hunting a witness or witnessing a hunter (which seems weird for a gun name). gewing
How did you read it? I'm having trouble thinking of context where "Witness Hunter" means something other than either hunting a witness or witnessing a hunter (which seems weird for a gun name). Well, the WITNESS product line had been out for years, then they announced the "Hunter" Model. I never put it together that way. Actually, I may have inspired the hunter model with an Email to them a few years before they brought it out. Almost exactly what I suggested, and I was focused on the 10mm cartridge... bigbywolfe
gewing
I won't say this is actually COOL, more a matter of LUDICROUS, DANGEROUS, and insane, but if we are talking about weapons for Bricks...
gewing
In the previous, I would probably not use the .50 bmg case, bottleneck HIGH pressure cases are not necessarily the best things for revolvers. Maybe the 12 ga from hell Visiting here to let folks know about our latestbig wildcat cartridge.First it was developed by Rob,Johnand I over on AR big bore forum. It is a long brass casemade from bmg brass that we put a 12ga size rim on.Rob andJohn used a Borchardt falling block action and I used aSavage 210 bolt action shotgun that I put heavy barrel and and stock on..In testing I got a 730 gr Dixie hard lead slug out at 2700 fps.Got a 3/4 oz barnes sabot out at 3900.Here is picture of our case next to a plastic 12ga shell, which can also be fired in our chambers.Ed. __________________ From http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=178655 Or something like the 600 nitro or some such. gewing
This video of someone firing a 600 nitro express single shot pistol shows why such things are for BRICKS!

gewing
But the pistol certainly hit him, in the face. I wonder if it broke or dislocated his trigger finger and possibly thumb as it ripped out of his hand. If you watch closely, there is a serious red mark across his cheek after it hit him. Oh, another problem with something like the .50 BMG is that the unburnt powder would tend to set anything inside about 6 feet in front of you on fire. IndianaJoe3
I remember hearing about a revolver seized by Brazilian police that was chambered for 12 gauge shotgun shells. I do not know if it had ever been fired.
Old Man
Oh, another problem bonus feature with something like the .50 BMG is that the unburnt powder would tend to set anything inside about 6 feet in front of you on fire. gewing
Fixed! Well, as long as you have flash protection, never have friendlies or neutrals in front of you and don't mind only getting 25% of the performance from the case...

Ragitsu
Friendly fire? Is that when you go for a roll in the hay with your half-fire elemental girlfriend? Which I wouldn't recommend, by the way: it tends to get the barn burnt to cinders in short order.
