TechnoGothic
Humans, aka terrans Mainly because, i only have the Star Hero book But i'm going to design my own races anyways. I'm going to have a Big troll-like race which i'm going to call the Ettins. I though about about a a Race from Hyper/sub-space called the Jinn *looks like the Wishmaster Jinn btw...* which will have Very high tech, even by our standards today would be *magic* like. I thought about introducing other races, lossely based on Fantasy Monsters...But they will be Aliens, and not magical in the least. Very Evolved, or highly Geneticly enhanced beings using science. Of course, i will magic totally orginal Alien Races too...
tabascojunkie
something i hadn't given much conscious thought to is the hyperspace being. it's briefly mentioned in one of the star hero books, but it went in one ear and out the other. it's a cool idea though. TechnoGothic
Yah Hyper-Sub-space in my games work like B5 for the most part. Its a place that needs highly trained indivuals to navigate through. looking through the book again, there is alot of info about Hyper-space, and Hyper-space drives/pilots info in the book...but its scattered about here and there. Monolith
Our current campaign has a Human, a Martian, a Heavy, a Fex, a Mon'dabi, and a Catavalan. As far as encounters, I think we have "met" Ackalians, Thorgons, Shiseki, Jaruma, Kolajik, Perseids, Dendrians, Hzeel, and Xenovores from the book. We have also encountred a few races listed in Digital Hero. Daber Mo’Ran (leader of the Black Holes syndicate) is a Lorghilian (the same race as Mordace) and we have met quite a few Dendrians. The GM has also created a few races, as have I, which I assume we will be encountering in the future.

I have every issue of DH, but I think these slipped past my notice somehow....
Rigel
Tarmin I am just set to begin GM'ing a TE game, and so far, the PCs are all human with one Tarmin, the rat-faced race mentioned on TE page 21. The Tarmin character is a modern-day thief with electronics, mechanics, security systems, system ops, stealth, sleight of hand, and the like. The PCs are part of a private eye/bounty hunter security firm, so they may need to get into places that someone else considers secure. Agent Escafarc
My TE games has yet to get going yet but in our Champions game, our power-armored hero Sentinal is secretly a Hzeel scout who was sent to spy for an upcoming invasion, but has decided he likes Earth. And Andromeda, a mentalist/brick is half-Varanyi.

The race information was taken from issues 5-7 (the Star*Guard issues). Issue 5 discusses Brin Rei Tarn, who was the first Star*Guard and was from the planet Dendris (40 LY from Earth – making it part of the Heartworld circle). Issue 6 discusses Dr. Gallok (a Pograckian), Lelidda Medry (a Cavlorian), and Tinaru Trelav (a Zigmaran – though I do not get the impression his homeworld is within Terran space, but they are a scattered people and can be encountered within Terran space). Issue 7 gives us Mordace from the planet Lorghil (50 LY from Earth, making it also part of the Heartworld circle). I have a whole alien races chart for TE where I try to fit everything from all the TE, Champions, and Digital Hero articles into one simple continuity. What can I say, I hate looking things up. I'd completely disassociated Star*Guard from the whole CU for some reason. As soon as I saw that word in your post, I knew what you were talking about -- I really need to dive into that. I have a feeling these may become useful species for my Mon'dabi Embassy campaign. This isn't just a good idea; it's a good premise for a Digital Hero article (IMO).
