Major Tom 2009
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Don't know if anyone's done this one or not, but here goes: The Fellowship of the Matrix When Elrond of Rivendell is possessed by a strange and unknown entity, the Fellowship must attempt to save him -- but in order to do so, they must venture into a world like nothing they've ever seen before...a world where seemingly anything is possible...a world known only as...The Matrix. Frodo (looks around as a roaring sound becomes increasingly louder): "What's that noise?" Agent Elrond: "That, Mr. Baggins, is the sound of inevitability...it is the sound of your death." (Cut to the sight of hundreds of Uruk-Hai -- all dressed in green-grey business suits and wearing dark sunglasses -- suddenly appearing behind Agent Elrond, and looking positively bloodthirsty.)
