Badger
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Alamo 300 Leonidus: THIS IS......TEXAS And one I have thought of before but I dont know if I ever mentioned it. LOTR and the anime show Bleach (I dont have a name, ok, LOrd of the Zanpatos?) ANyhow, more specifically I just wanted to transplant 11th Squad Cpt. Kenpachi Zaraki and lt. Yachiru Kisajishi. I have it all figured out, they'd spend the first 2 and a half movies wandering around looking for a 'champion of mordor'. Mostly lost. When the Fellowship is in moria, they'd wander into the shire, we'd cut off from the middle of helm's deep with Kenpachi making short work of some remaining orcs in Moria (extremely disappointed that he just missed the Balrog) Then there will be the Battle of the Pelennor Fields...... In the midst of the battle (oblivious to the fighting around him, Kenpachi spots the Witch-king) Yachiru: Go get 'im Kenny! *the Witch-king and Kenpachi match a few blows, then the Witch-king makes a move with that big-@$$ flail only....* *....to have it swatted away by a one-handed swat of Kenpachi's sword* Kenpachi: Is that the best you can do? *then Kenpachi makes short work of the poor Witch-King* *then Kenpachi (with Yachiru on shoulder) walk away (still oblivious to the fighting of the surrounding "weaklings")* Kenpachi: That wasnt even worth my time. Note: hmm, maybe I put too much thought into that. 2nd Note: and I shudder to think what nicknames Yachiru would give some characters in LOTR. I'm sure Sauron will be called Visine. If I remember in the expanded movie version Mouth of Sauron is sure to be called Dentures.

You should pitch this to them. It's no worst than a lot of stuff coming out of Hollywood right now.

FenrisUlf
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares I'm assuming you mean shadow as in, The Shadow (the Pulp hero). In which case this would not be a nightmare, but truly awesome. Can the occult powers and blazing .45s of the Shadow defeat the mind-blasting powers of the Great Old Ones, or is humanity doomed? The only thing that could make it beter would be if it were the Spider, Master of Men, versus Nyarlathotep in his "evil mad scientist/cult leader" persona. Yes' date=' I mean The Shadow. But I think he'll find out he's a fish man too. [/quote'] Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of fish? Lucius Alexander The palindromedary says, "oh that was a deep one, Lucius" Booo! Hisss! Can someone please Rep this palindromedary?

The Main Man
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Steven Seagal is back as ex-Navy SEAL Casey Ryback as he embarks on his greatest journey yet as he boards a train to deliver the One Ring to Rule Them All to Mount Doom in the land of Mordor, where the Shadows lie. But on the way, Eric Bogosian stars as the commander of a troop of renegade elves out to use the ring for themselves to threaten Middle Earth and bring it to its knees. Action! Suspense! Romance! This movie has it all in The Lord of the Rings 2: Dark Territory! Buy it on DVD and Blu-Ray!
tkdguy
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Given that Legolas was "snowboarding" on the stairs of Helm's Deep and on the Oliphaunt's trunk, adding Steven Seagal may not be too much of a stretch. Then again, adding Aikijutsu to the action won't hurt anyone (except the bad guys).
