Welll...you could have Gabriel and his crew of fellow homicidal angels be after the child born to Duncan and his lady friend (from Highlander: the Source) for whatever nefarious purpose -- and the only ones that Duncan can turn to for help are Michael and Selene. Along the way, they could pick up additional help in the form of an emotionally-damaged Australian ex-high- way cop. Just a thought...
