Like everyone else: the core rules & TMA. And I've been surprised at how handy Combat Handbook has been.

 

Genre books that get the most use in other genres:

Dark Champs

Ninja Hero (Yeah, I'm surprised too. But there's some good stuff in there, and ninjas fit most any campaign.)

Speaking of which' date=' how many people out there actually use the GM screen that came with the resource kit? Personally, I don't. I've always found it far to large to actually use as a screen. At most I've only used it as a handy cheet sheet of handy charts to keep nearby, and that was only rarely.[/quote']

 

I do, but would agree with anyone stating that it is poorly organized. I use it for 2 reasons...

  1. quickly finding the combat manuevers, OCV/DCV penalties, etc.
  2. Need a shield to be a Shield Monkey!
