Edsel
Most of the driving I do in real life is around the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas. The elevated expressways in those two cities are generally six lanes wide (three lanes either way). Hudson City is an old eastern seaboard major city. How big is the average elevated expressway in cities of that type, four, six, eight, ten, more? Since the Hudson City book does not give specific information on the number of lanes its elevated expressways have I am thinking of going with a default of six to eight lanes. Does this sound about right?
Yansuf
Re: Hudson City Streets Depends on how long ago they made the elevated highways. Many were 4 lane (2 each way), but using 6 lane is probably reasonable. Unless they were made/renovated after the 1960's more than 6 lanes are unlkely.
