Dynamo
On the old boards, someone wanted to know the background behind the lady warrior gracing the cover of Ninja Hero and the sequence of illustrations in Ultimate Martial Artist. Storn admitted that he really had no idea beyond her appearance. After some brainstorming after a name (I think we settled on Whispering Silk), Mike Surbrook mentioned that he would probably give her a write-up somewhere. Anything ever come of that? Storn
Mike sent me an initial write up of Silk Hurricane. It looked great. But I will let him post it, it is his creation.
Dynamo
Cool, I look forward to seeing it. Thanks, Storn.
Lord Liaden
Wasn't that "Silk Whirlwind"? I seem to remember someone suggesting that she and Iron Whirlwind duke it out for the right to the "whirlwind" part. Mike Surbrook seemed to be excited about writing her up, and when Susano gets excited about a new character creation, I start to salivate in anticipation. (Just call me "Pavlov's Gamer".) Steve Long
Well, maybe she's undergone a power upgrade -- Whirlwind to Hurricane.
Dynamo
Yeah, Silk Whirlwind, that's right! Indeed, I too enjoy Mr Surbrook's stat'd characters. (Though I think my own salivation is triggered by thoughts of the pot of spaghetti sauce I'm about to go make.)

Looking forward to tasting it tomorrow after it's mellowed overnight. I hope Mike sees this thread soon. I don't want to have to keep bumping it by posting about my cooking. The new Hero Games domain might not have cycled through for you yet, but if you are using the message boards on Dan's server you can click the home button and the top and get the regular Hero Games homepage. Dynamo
I occassionally get a servlet exception when I first arrive at the homepage, but it goes away when I hit refresh and never comes back during that visit to the site. Susano
Sorry guys... I have stopped coming to the boards due to a lack of time. Okay -- coming to the boards all that often, as I've just stated a pardox by posting. Anyway, Silk Whirlwind is a 350-point character. I have a set of stats, powers, and skills, but no disads or history. Posting her will depend on a proposal I plan to submit to Steve Long next week. I am also debating putting her up her or sending her into Digital Hero...
