I report on the 19th for the training classes. It's in my field (in this case, tech support), there are benefits, and there's the possibility of advancement. Today, I went to my dentist for a cleaning, which went really well, and that meant that I could shop at the game stores on the FAR side of the valley. I found The Ultimate Base, some Mongoose Traveller stuff, some new dice (including some fancy "steampunk" dice), and the Zombie Dice game from Steve Jackson Games. I went to the Scottish Highland Games in Mt Vernon, WA on Saturday. (I could belong to Clan Lamont. We were wiped out by the Campbells in 1626.) They had a whiskey-sampling area. And one end of it was right next to the parade grounds where the pipe band competition was held. Sampling whiskey and listening to the pipes.
