Had a nice dinner and a nice conversation, and got to show off our new house. And even now, my new evil BigDamnHeroBot is insinuating its way into BDH's former life, allowing me complete access and control over what once was his! And soon, you all will suffer his fate! It's amazing how parenthood lowers your personal bar for "nice" and "happy". Yesterday I was barfed on twice; today, zero! Soon ... as in, only a couple of eternities from now ... the kid will stop depositing substances of internal origin upon you. That will be followed after a VERY brief interval of true peace and contentment, after which the kid starts hitting you up for money.
