(The letter F was generally pretty silly.)
MisterVimes
Re: "Neat" Pictures The Flumph was on everyone's WTF list. There was even a 101 uses for a dead Flumph in "Dragon" magazine. My favorite was that they make a festive hat!
MisterVimes
Re: "Neat" Pictures You mean like the Flumph and the Flail Snail? (The letter F was generally pretty silly.) I think the only thing I used regularly from the FF was the Githyanki and the Githzerai. Possibly the Drow (because I think that was the first Monster book where they appeared). I recall that most of them were taken from the Fiend Factory articles in the old (pre warhammer) "White Dwarf" magazine.

Possibly the Drow (because I think that was the first Monster book where they appeared). I recall that most of them were taken from the Fiend Factory articles in the old (pre warhammer) "White Dwarf" magazine. Little known fact: the iconic extra-dimensional Githyanki, Githzerai, and Slaad entries in the Fiend Folio were contributed by a (then) young author by the name of Charles Stross, who went on to become a Hugo award winner. He won the award for one of his "Laundry Files" stories, which are now the basis of an RPG from Cubicle 7. It focuses on a modern-day covert agency dedicated to battling horrors from other dimensions....
