Since I've never paid much attention to the Rocky series, I didn't know that was the one with Dolph. Thanks!
Xavier Onassiss
Re: "Neat" Pictures It's a cool infographic. I'd argue one thing: I've hard the argument that 50 years is too far for the 'near future' and that it should be closer to 25 years. Hard to judge that one I think. Second, I've read this phrase a lot: Near Future is about the present. Far Future is about the distant past. I posted this over in the Star Hero forum as well. I've heard the definition of Near Future vary anywhere from "20 minutes from now" to "within a human lifetime." In between those two, 50 years is probably pretty close to the median. Stories I've seen about the Far Future were about "deep time" starting from an arbitrary point centuries from now at which the world has radically changed... up to the Heat Death of the Universe, which is every bit as depressing as it sounds. MisterVimes
Re: "Neat" Pictures But skip everything that comes after. The Ender branch or the Bean branch? Because I think the Ender sequels are weak and lose the character of Ender, but the Bean/Shadow books are, I think, quite good.
