austenandrews
Re: "Neat" Pictures That is pretty cool' date=' and cheaper than tile, i'll wager.[/quote'] Assuming my quickly-googled numbers are correct, the surface area of a penny = 283 sq mm and one square foot = 92,903 sq mm. That means if you somehow ignored the space wasted between the coins, a one foot-square tile would be $3.28 in pennies. In reality it'd be even fewer pennies, of course. Add in the cost of adhesive and a substrate. If you do the work yourself, it could be competitive with nicer tiles.

teh bunneh
Re: "Neat" Pictures Ah. Started reading the book and lost interest quickly. Is the movie better? I dunno about "better" but they are very different. The book (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep) is, for the most part, a deeply philosophical look at what makes us human. That's an undertone throughout the movie, but it's wrapped up in a very noir detective story.

Susano
Re: "Neat" Pictures Ah. Started reading the book and lost interest quickly. Is the movie better? Blade Runner has very little in common with Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. The film is, in my opinion, a must see.
