Wow, that's a great picture. Reminds me of Kaa the Rock Python from the original Jungle Book (not the movies!). Greetings, man-cub.
lemming
Re: "Neat" Pictures Wow.... now if only it was big enough to use as my monitor's desktop. There is a 1280 x 960 version and it retains a good image even when blown up to twice the size.

Basil
Re: "Neat" Pictures The Horsehead Nebula has been photographed many, many times; it deserves to be--it's spectacular. This is one of the best photos of the Horsehead I've seen. Warning, it is over 700Kb in size: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/image/0811/horsehead_caelum_big.jpg Here's a bit of info: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap081126.html
Susano
Re: "Neat" Pictures Another type of illusion is called Trompe l’oeil, French for “fool the eye”, and that’s just what happens when first encountering Justen Ladda’s The Thing, painted in 1981. For those who enjoy crowing “photoshopped!” at every opportunity, no amount of computer trickery can duplicate the scene Justin Ladda presents to visitors who walk into the decrepit former theater in The Bronx where The Thing awaits
