nexus
Re: "Neat" Pictures Woah that's creepy! I had a look awhile in order to appreciate the full implications. GO little zombie fighting kids!! SURVIVE!!! *whispers* They'll be alright....won't they? Depends on if the director/writer are trying to be edgy or not. Traditional formula says they'll make it, Disney formula says it'll almost look fun. They don't have a bad "tactical" position and it doesn't seem to be an endless horde so I guess if they could out until if/when some kind of help arrives or clear enough of the zombie kids to make a run for it. And those are some darn agile zombies... But, IIRC the only Romero zombies that ran were kid zombies in Dawn of the Dead. And in the remake the little girl zombie in the opening was really nimble. She kicked up to her feet at one point.

I wonder if he had a reason to make the kid zombies more nimble? Maybe there were still some stem cells that mutated with the zombification and offered enhanced capabilities? SSgt Baloo
Re: "Neat" Pictures I used to be a zombie kid. Mom would come into the room, throw open the curtains, and announce: "The sun is shining and the birds are singing! It's time to get up-it-ty!!" When I was little I just crawled sluggishly out of bed, but when I was a teenager I really did get uppity! Once. Ever. (Turns out Mom had a great right arm.) SteveZilla
Re: "Neat" Pictures I don't know about other states, but there are stories in Texas about how, after several years of drought, a heavy rain triggers huge mosquito swarms big enough to kill livestock. SteveZilla
Re: "Neat" Pictures Nope. We got both. Though a new species of ant has made an appearance lately. One that eats fire ants and appears to be somewhat docile about being handled by humans.
