Nolgroth
The echoing sound of my inner psyche screaming in futile, frustrated rage. "Long As I Can See the Light" by Creedence Clearwater Revival, but only in my head.

Michael Hopcroft
Few music videos managed to have real characters that are at all interesting -- after all, for the most part they can;t speak. But this video manages it with Freeman, a Presidential candidate who is several things at once. I wish I could know more about him.

Michael Hopcroft
Silence tells me secretly ... Everything, everything (... The rest is silence.) Is Claude Berger supposed to be analogous to Hamlet? There are many Hamlet references in Hair. But it was a Shakespearean company that originally produced Hair. This should not be surprising. At the time, it was one of the most controversial shows in Broadway history, between its innovative rock score (that still retained it Musical Theater roots), the chaotic staging, the occasional glimpses of nudity, and the politically-charged antiwar themes. One thing was clear, though -- for better or worse, Broadway would never be the same after Hair.
