tkdguy
It's been over 12 and a half years since anyone seen or heard from Rachel or Kara... I think I scared someone away from the chat rooms last year when I related that incident.
Cancer
What if the warhammer 40,000 universe is real and we're just characters in a RPG in it about a wonderful universe free from the horrors if the warp? If you swap in "that hasn't become aware of" for "free from" you are more likely to be correct.

tkdguy
Hope you told them is was over 10 yrs ago. I left the timeline kinda vague, but I did mention it was way in the past. I think I also mentioned the flame wars that we used to have long ago. Bazza
death tribble
It is. Truth is often stranger than fiction. Cancer
Well, the latter is more realistic.

Pariah
I got a beverage from the drive-thru today. No straw. I can only assume that yes, there is a law.
Old Man
Seriously, every single time. Missing fries. Plain hamburgers that aren't plain. Diet drinks that aren't diet. Missing utensils. And the screwup is never in the customer's favor, like extra food or something. I rarely use drive-thrus any more--it's usually faster to park and walk in anyway, and then they don't screw up your order. The only times I've ever found them to be useful are when I had a sleeping kid in the car, or when I was picking up more food than I could carry. Pariah
Better one should poke a sleeping dragon that wake a sleeping kid in the car.
Cancer
According to two of my students, the speed of light is just under 52 miles per hour. Must have been a fun experiment. L. Marcus
Pariah
Not even an experiment, just a dimensional analysis conversion problem. Seriously, kiddos, can you not see that that answer doesn't make any sense at all?
Cancer
It is intriguing, though, to think about cars leaving behind cones of Cerenkov radiation as they go. Pariah
