Logan D. Hurricanes
Re: Musings on Random Musings What is this "television" of which you speak? Oh' date=' THAT? You mean there is something on it besides PBS and sports events? No, you don't mean that?[/quote'] Sure there is...cooking shows!
teh bunneh
Re: Musings on Random Musings The TV is usually on in the break room at work. That's the only time since about March that I've actually watched TV (and I usually don't pay any attention in the break room). The writer's strike hasn't affected me one way or another. I completely missed this year's season of Lost, Heroes, Dr. Who, and Robot Chicken (the only shows I used to watch). But I'll likely pick 'em up on DVD eventually. I watch plenty of DVDs, and I like to go to the movies once in a while, so I probably shouldn't be smug.

The last time I watched broadcast TV (as opposed to watching an episode of House on DVD) was when I was in Ireland back in November. My only concern with the writer's strike is how it will effect how many episodes there will be in the boxed set of House season 4.
lemming
Re: Musings on Random Musings My car got rear-ended last night on the way to work. No one hurt luckily' date=' but of course the guy was in a pickup so only had a scratched up bumper, I got my trunk bashed in, and may have to have it totaled.[/quote'] Grr. Well, the guy probably put enough of a shock to his engine area that come summer time, his radiator will blow. And his insurance won't cover that. Bazza
Re: Musings on Random Musings Huh? What? you did it. I guess it is Karma that Old Man, the founder of Musing culture of the NGD has this honour. Wise words those: "Huh? What?". Remember them folks. Ta-duh! Makes perfect sense to me. Since the posts in the thread that inspired it aren't supposed to be replied to or commented on in that thread, it kind of limits how fast it grows. Granted there are a lot of people that feel the need to spit in Old Man's face and blow that request off, but I at least am willing to honour his wishes in that. lemming
Re: Musings on Random Musings I thought it was the thread thread, but it's been such a long time, I may be remembering it wrong. And I'm fine with following Old Man's request. Have you seen how much lye he has on hand?

death tribble
Re: Musings on Random Musings Bazza, Yes the Templers have been out of action for 700 years. But recall they were dissolved by force so that the Pope and the King of France could get their hands on the order's money. And the date is significant. It was Friday the 13th. Thus the reason for the superstion about Friday 13th being bad. Oh and to the Americans. No writers strike here.
