It was the one wisdom tooth that had managed to come in reasonably straight. But it was crowded up against the back of the mouth so that bits of food would sometimes get stuck behind the tooth. A cavity developed, and later started to give me a toothache when it became a BAD cavity. On my lunch hour from work, I got a local, some strong prying and tugging, and *pop* out came the tooth.
