Cancer
It can. It is also possible to create really lousy-tasting chicken. In RL, Cooking is not an Everyman skill.
L. Marcus
Yes it is! As long as you stick to the basics, at least -- sausages and pasta.
Cancer
One chicken, one box of pasta. Boil together for four hours. Serve.

Cancer
Oh come on! Anyone can nuke something in a microwave! Our microwave died, with a loud buzz followed by a puff of fire inside. No chicken there.

Cancer
I don't need the phase transition form the false vacuum to the true vacuum to break out in my kitchen.
L. Marcus
... It's that bad, huh? What are your walls made of, anyway?
Cancer
There's enough wood in the construction that Fire is Bad.
L. Marcus
Remarkable that common wood can contain the raw, swirling energies of a collapsing vacuum!
Cancer
Well ... it can do it, but only for rather less than a picosecond. Like everything else in the false vacuum.

Cancer
... ... ... The concept of a brobdingnagian edifice constructed entirely out of three-dollar bills is breathtaking, and I'll have to use it someday in an appropriate context. L. Marcus
... Has three-dollar bills ever been legal tender?
Cancer
In the US, no. In other countries, I know of at least one where it was, though the notes, while legal tender, were intended more for sale as tourist souvenirs than useable currency. Cancer
I don't think that was the original intent of Emperor Norton's currency, though.
