Bazza
why not just cut and paste type from magazines?
Cancer
Hard to do a 50,000 word manifesto that way.

Cancer
I had trouble with that, too. My paste was always dried out.

Cancer
Not as big an issue as just having the lid come off the container and having it dry solid.

Cancer
The "go to newest post" button still doesn't do anything, and there doesn't seem to be any search function yet either.
L. Marcus
In the Political Cartoons thread, when I clicked the Newest Post button, I jumped to page fifty. We're getting there.
Cancer
Really? My trial with the Newest Post button did nothing. Guess I'll try again.

Cancer
Hey Bazza, annular eclipse today in a few hours, good chance you can see it ... see http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/OH/OH2013.html#SE2013May10A
Cancer
And BTW, the "Post Link" button does nothing for me other than generate server errors. Happily, the little cancel button at lower right gets you out of it (without it, you get nastygrams to the effect of "Please enter a valid link". (Did those d**kheads do any QA testing at all?) L. Marcus
First, write or copy/paste the link you're referring, with http and all, inside both quotation marks and brackets. Then write the title of your link, if you want it to be something else than the link's text. then write /http again, also within quotation marks and brackets. I think that's how it works. A try: [http://www.dn.se]Sweden's leading daily newspaper's online edition.[/http] Edit: Nope ... Check under the Space News thread -- TKD explained it to me there. I have only a weak grasp of where you actually are, but the track went right over where I thought that was. Cancer
... And our week-plus of sun is interrupted by a couple of days of rain. The boy got a good mess of hedge-trimming done before it started, though.
L. Marcus
Trimming the verds?
Cancer
Hedge trimming is one of things that make me feel cheated by all the sci-fi hype. Y'know how everyone bitches about not having flying cars yet? I want laser cutters. Trimming hedge would be so much easier with a laser cutter. Dial it to the right length, and carve the expansionist bush back into where it ought to be. Yeah, you'd still have to rake up the cuttings, but the actual cutting part would be much easier.
